How It Works

Hiring an AI Worker, start to finish

No sales gauntlet, no six-week implementation. Three steps: browse the roster, hire the role, and walk a guided wizard until your worker clocks in. Here's the whole process, honestly.

STEP 01 / BROWSE

Read the job description

Each worker profile is written like a real job posting: the tasks it owns, the tools it connects to, a genuine sample of its output, and the price. Compare roles side by side in the roster — the same way you'd compare candidates.

STEP 02 / HIRE

Checkout — or a short call

Most workers are self-serve: checkout takes minutes, billing is month-to-month, and there's no contract. Roles involving phone systems or custom builds are guided setup — they start with a 30–45 minute configuration call instead.

STEP 03 / CONFIGURE

The onboarding wizard

Checkout drops you straight into a setup wizard built for that specific role. Connect tools, answer plain-English questions about how you work, set guardrails, review a test run — then your worker goes live. Progress saves at every step.

Inside the Wizard

What setup actually looks like

The wizard is role-specific — the Support Agent asks about your help docs and refund limits; the Sales Agent asks for your voice and your list. But every worker walks the same four stations, and most owners finish in 30–60 minutes.

1 · CONNECT Link your tools — OAuth, a few clicks each.
            No passwords shared, revoke anytime.

2 · TEACH Answer plain-English questions: your voice,
            your policies, your no-go zones.

3 · BOUND Set the guardrails — spend limits, topics,
approval rules. Draft mode is the default.

4 · TEST RUN The worker performs a supervised sample task.
You review it. Approve → worker goes live.

Control Model

Three modes. Per task. Always logged.

Autonomy isn't a switch, it's a dial — and you set it per task class, not per worker. A Sales Agent can run follow-ups on Autopilot while first-touch outreach stays in Approve.

Draft

Prepares the work, hands it to you, touches nothing. The default for every new worker and every new task class.

Approve

Executes after your one-click sign-off from a review queue. Ten minutes of your morning covers a full day of its work.

Autopilot

Runs solo inside written boundaries. Exceptions escalate to you with context. Every action still lands in the log.

Every worker also ships with a pause button and a full activity feed. Pausing takes effect immediately; logs are exportable; high-risk changes are reversible for 90 days.

FAQ

Setup questions, answered

How long does setup really take?
Self-serve workers: most owners finish the wizard in 30–60 minutes, including connecting tools. Guided-setup workers (Voice, Custom) are configured with our team over one or two calls.
What if I get stuck mid-setup?
The wizard saves progress at every step, so you can leave and resume. A help thread with our team is one click away inside the wizard itself — no support-ticket purgatory.
Do workers talk to each other?
Yes, when you allow it. The Sales Agent can hand a closed deal to the Ops Agent's onboarding SOP; the Support Agent can flag data errors to the Data & Records Agent. Handoffs are visible in the activity log like everything else.
What data do you store?
Connection credentials are encrypted, actions are logged for your audit trail, and your business content is used to run your workers — not to train public models. Full details in our Privacy Policy.
